  • Secretariat Meetings

    The next secretariat meeting will be held on January 20, 2018 at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church in Gridley, CA at 10:00 a.m..  Subsequent meetings will be in March, May, July, September, and November on the second Saturday..same time/location unless otherwise indicated.


  • Important! Participation Cost has Changed!

    The Secretariat has approved the cost to participate in Cursillo is $200.00 per person, effective January 1, 2017.

Diocese of Northern California

 

SECRETARIAT MEETING, MAY 20, 1913

 

In attendance at this meeting:Gerry Moore, Anne Armes, Dan Boeger, Russ Bruch, Noreen Lafferty, and Susan van Dyke

 

Opening Prayer  was given by Dan Boeger.

 

Minutes  of the previous meeting were corrected to show the bank account balance to be $7,4o7.77 AND Under Old BUSINESS the following was added:  DelindaWoltring donated $210 to cover the cost for 3 months space rental.

 

Vice President’s Report---Judy Silva absent.

 

Treasurer’s Report  One sponsorship fee is still outstanding for 108 ($125)  AND Noreen indicated she had given out receipts for all other sponsorship checks.  AND Noreen said that currently she and President Moore currently sign checks.  Noreen is exploring adding more signatories.

 

Sponsorship Training---Susan van Dyke or Gerry Moore will travel to any church in the diocese to conduct Sponsorship Training.

 

Librarian moved to Texas so new one is needed.

Registrar’s Report---is currently revising application forms so that people can circle their preferences.

 

Webmaster’s Report---Russ Bruch announced that he is resigning his duties as Webmaster.   It was suggested that both the vacant position of Librarian and Webmaster be placed on the Website

 

Cursillo 109---Dan Boger, Rector for 109 asked interested people to submit a Team Application to him as soon as possible.

 

Dan also announced that the Cook Team will meet separately to plan their menus but would also join the rest of the team for two overnight (Fri/Sat) training sessions at Julian’s Rest.

 

Dan also requested the Secretariat fund $600 to rent Julian’s Rest.Request approved.

 

New business discussion was led my President Moore.  He expressed that he felt that a p0licy be developed unless a certain number of candidate applications be received by an announced date that that particular Cursillo be cancelled.  No action other than discussion followed.
